I was cleaning out our hall closet this week and I hadn’t realized just how many jackets and blankets we have. With the weather getting cooler, and winter fast approaching, I figured that now is a good time to give away our excess.

Do you have a an abundance of blankets, warm clothing, scarfs, gloves or jackets that your family has outgrown or won’t miss? Some organizations have a “coat drive” where they collect coats to donate.  Whether you organize a “drive” or personally donate your items, doesn’t matter.  What matters is that others can benefit from the items you are willing to discard, and you benefit by clearing out space, so you can more easily see and access what you have, and you just may warm someone’s heart!
